    This is where the story changes from the other series. This is where it gets good. I can’t wait for this series to start getting into the real story line!

    Wow, I am a bit disappointed in this one. They squashed together some of the best parts, and got this out of it. They just blew pass a whole chunky of the manga, and it didn’t even give a whiff to what happen with Hughes.

    I mean, there was someone whom suffered becaused of what happen to him, and what about Ed’s subs ….they just disappeared I guess.

    I am so disappointed at this point.

    Actually, I was wrong …I had to relook it. Hahahaha, I got the time frame wrong.

    Though, my favorite part was still hacked and slashed.

    Greed vs. Furer Bradley

    Greed: Hey Hey Mr. Bradley, how are you going to pay for what you did to your subordinates?

    Bradley: Feeling sympathy for the pawns, huh?

    Greed: Sympathy!! Who in the hell do you think I am? I am Greed the greedy. Men, Women, and subordinate. All of them belongs to me. Everything belongs to me.

    Then the Furer goes on to kick his ass. Yup, that part doesn’t change, but, I just felt that a few words made a big differences. Because, you get the fact, that he was trying to save his last subordinate and get revenge instead of simply just fighting the Furer.

    They didn’t change King Bradley’s homunculus name. He really is Wrath.

    It was the first anime that changed his name.

    And Pride later in this series is seriously more EVIL… and he’s someone you’ll least expect. (At least… if you haven’t read the manga.)

    Oh, and because they forgot to explain it, Greed couldn’t use his shield because he can’t regenerate and build up the shield at the same time. And come on, who would expect that old man to kick ass that much?

    I kinda miss the old Greed. I mean, yeah, he still died, but he accomplished something with it (that and his character was deeper). :( The whole thing was more tragic this time around.

    This episode just went beyond the level of AWESOME.

    The fight scenes were stupendous, the part where Al remembering the Truth was well done. FATHER (Except his voice, it still hasn’t grown on me.) showing up. And who didn’t love the homunculi??
    Wrath as officially the BADDEST BADASS villain there is!!

    And awwwww…. Selim Bradley was just sooooo adoooorableee!! XD
    Too bad he’s–

    I’m really excited about next episode!!
    LIN YAO(voiced by Mamoru Miyano! XD) Shall finally make his appearance!!

    Oh yeah… this is where the good stuff comes in. (–,)

    oh I cant wait for the new episode to come, the envoys from the east are the best, now you suckers who liked the old anime best cause you haven’t read the mangs are in for some treat,

    and isn’t it better this story after all. In the old anime Ed killing Greed, so unbelivable, this is much better, savoring Ed’s innocence.

    Hm, kind of disappointed too. The old series was somehow much more emotional and deeper. Greed was a person I really liked, and he was somehow a good person. I was really sad when Ed had to kill him. It was also the fact that Ed had to kill the first person in his life.

    This new series is way too fast. If I would see this before the old series, I wouldnt really be interested. When I watched the old one, I had to watch all episodes in one go! But now, it doesnt really touch my emotion.

    And it got too many funny scenes at serious moments. Like Al just saw how this girl was killed inside him (which was much more emotional in the old one) and 2 scenes later, he make some funny movements when talking about his memories. My feeling is, that the old series had a much better timing for funny moments then the new one.

    @Dereknor That’s because the first anime series was a completely different story. This new series follows the manga, which I highly recommend you read *its awsome!*. I feel its quite unfair to compare both of the series, seeing as this “new” anime IS the original story of Fullmetal Alchemist. But im not saying you have no right to voice your opinion on it, I’m not that kind of person ^_^

    Yeah, personally I didn’t like the old Sloth that much. Her powers didn’t fit with the abilities of the other homunculi, and no matter which way I saw it, she wasn’t exactly “lazy”.
    If you watch on later in the series, the new Sloth fits his name much better and has a pretty interesting (and crazy) power.
