    Just some info for those who are Japanese illiterate. The term that was used to describe Hacchan is “gyojin” which is a combination of the characters for fish (gyo) and human (jin). Thus, it would be more accurate to translate it as “fish human” or “fish men” (even though there are females of the species). The term for mermaids/merfolk would be ningyo (again, the characters for human and fish are used, though in a different order). Also, the suffix “-gou” is often added to the end of a ship’s name, similar to the suffixes “-san”, “-chan”, and “-kun” in for peoples’ names. Lastly, Gaon would be the Japanese for “Roar”. So, since Sunny’s figurehead is a lion, it’s only fitting that it’s best feature is a “Roar cannon”. ^_^

    Anywho, I’m looking forward to the coming episodes. In fact, I’d say I’m all pumped up! ;-)
